Deregulated power in Connecticut is a Government mandate that gives us a power choice. All of our electric power is now pooled together into the New England Power Pool and delivered to homes and business. Even though all the power you need is still delivered in the same way as you are used to, you now have a “power choice” in which company generates your electricity. And this competition in the marketplace has reduced electric costs which in turn, lowers your monthly bills.
Bottom line: Same energy, lower bills.
